In your practice management system, select the "Check" payment type for the client's invoice (if applicable).
Navigate to https://dashboard.scratchpay.com/dashboard/collect-payment and select the eCheck Payment tab.
Select the Business/Other button.
Enter in all required information.
Click Create Lockbox ID and follow the steps outlined including writing a special code on the bottom of the check and then mailing it to a specified PO Box.
Lockbox Checks typically take 3 business days to process after reaching the PO Box. Mailing Lockbox Checks in a timely fashion will reduce the overall processing window.
Once processed, the payment will then either switch to a "successful" or "failed" status, and you may have an additional action to take if the check fails.
