What is a credit card dispute?

A credit card dispute occurs when a cardholder questions a charge on their credit card statement. The cardholder may claim that the charge is unauthorized, represents non-delivery of service, or the service was not as described. In these scenarios, it is necessary to submit a dispute response with compelling evidence by the defined deadline.
